SpaceXAI's Grok 4.7 is now available on Amazon Bedrock. AWS's launch post builds a tool-calling agent on the model and tests it on three search-heavy tasks at every reasoning effort level, six runs each. AWS reports 67 of 72 runs correct, with all 18 correct at xhigh effort and 15 of 18 at low effort while using about an eighth of the output tokens. The post shows how to tune that trade-off per request and monitor it in production.
Elon Musk posted that Grok 4.7 ranks first in legal matters, linking to a comparison chart.
Elon Musk retweeted that Grok 4.7 is now #1 on the Artificial Analysis Cyber Index. The ranking has not been independently verified against the leaderboard, and xAI has not published a formal announcement.
An r/singularity-adjacent Chinese tech account reports that Grok 4.7 is now available in the main Grok app's chat and research modes — it had previously been limited to Build and Bot — including the Expert (Thinks hard) mode. The post says writing is steadier than the previous generation and long tasks now self-check instead of behaving like a pure coding tool. The rollout has not been confirmed by xAI.
