German AI lab Aleph-Alpha released Kolibri-1 on Hugging Face: a 78B-parameter mixture-of-experts model with 3.46B active parameters and up to 1 million tokens of context, under an Apache 2.0 license per community reports. Cohere's account publicly praised the release, and it is being read as a rare open-weight flagship from the European lab.
