• Baseten's Base Labs releases open-weight decision models mammoth-1 (27B) and elephant-1 (9B)

  Base Labs fine-tuned Qwen3.5-27B and Qwen3.5-9B into decision models that return probabilities over a question's options instead of generating text, and released the weights on Hugging Face. It says mammoth-1 ranks first of 208 models on the Jev Decision Index 0.4 with 71.24. Both are available through Baseten Model APIs.
