- Vercel CI enters beta with Turborepo task skipping and agent-oriented tooling
Vercel introduces Vercel CI in beta on all plans: it intelligently skips tasks with Turborepo, claims 2-6x faster CI in internal repos, and is optimized for agents via Vercel MCP and CLI after nearly 8 million tasks.
- Vercel open-sources durable-harness so coding agents like Claude Code and Codex survive crashes
Vercel released durable-harness, an open-source set of adapters that lets agent harnesses including Pi, OpenCode, Codex and Claude Code resume a turn after a crash, function timeout or redeploy. It logs each model and tool call to a durable backend so finished calls are not rerun. It can run on Vercel or be self-hosted with a backend such as Postgres; Vercel calls it experimental.
- Vercel Drives is generally available, giving Sandbox agents persistent file storage across runs
Vercel Drives is generally available for Vercel Sandbox on all plans, so agents can keep files on a drive that mounts into new sandboxes when the runtime or tools change. Drives default to 1 TiB, or 1 GiB on Hobby, with up to 16 TiB available, and forking a drive for parallel experiments is also generally available. Agents can share a drive read-only or continue work without copying the workspace between environments.
- Vercel's Guillermo Rauch shares agent and bot traffic stats across the Vercel network
Guillermo Rauch, Vercel's CEO, posted Vercel traffic stats. Across the entire Vercel network, 58.18% of traffic over the last 30 days is bot-originated, up from 32% in January 2024. More than 60% of deployments on Vercel are now agentic, up from about 3% in January 2026. Up to 83% of pageviews on Vercel's own documentation sites now come from agents.
- Vercel launches v0 for teams, letting teammates see and join each other's chats
