- Mistral and NVIDIA team up on AI for industrial engineering, with open benchmarks for physics and engineering agents
Mistral says it is working with NVIDIA on AI-native engineering workflows that pair Mistral Large 4 and Mistral's data generation and physics modeling pipelines with NVIDIA CUDA-X libraries and NVIDIA Warp, aiming to speed up engineering simulation. The companies will build public benchmarks and open datasets for evaluating physics AI models, and dedicated evaluations for AI agents in computer-aided engineering (CAE) and electronic design automation (EDA) that test tool use, multistep workflows, correctness, execution time and compute cost. Mistral will also integrate its models with NVIDIA Omniverse libraries for 3D scene generation and SimReady asset creation.
- NVIDIA unveils DSX POD at GTC Berlin, prebuilt container AI factories it says can be deployed in 14 days
At his GTC Berlin keynote, Jensen Huang announced NVIDIA DSX POD, a reference design for complete Vera Rubin AI factories that partners build inside modular containers and validate before delivery. NVIDIA says on-site deployment can shrink from six months to as little as 14 days once site utilities are ready, and that its DSX platform can cut cooling water use by up to 100% and deliver the same AI output with up to 30% less power. Huang also introduced an OpenShell reference architecture for running AI agents safely. NVIDIA is working with 17 partners, including Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Schneider Electric and Vertiv, to deliver DSX POD AI factories worldwide starting in early 2027.
- NVIDIA makes its Factory Operations Blueprint available as European manufacturers adopt Omniverse, Cosmos and Nemotron
NVIDIA says European industrial companies are using its CUDA-X and Omniverse libraries and Cosmos and Nemotron open models across engineering and manufacturing. It also says the NVIDIA Factory Operations Blueprint (FOX), which brings these tools to the factory floor, is now available.
- Jensen Huang visits NVIDIA's Build-A-Claw developer event in London
NVIDIA AI says its Build-A-Claw event came to London, where Jensen Huang stopped by and attendees took part in a raffle, and that the series will continue in its next city.
- NVIDIA AI kicks off its road to GTC Berlin with a developer event in Barcelona
NVIDIA AI shared footage from a builder event in Barcelona and says its road to NVIDIA GTC Berlin is officially under way.
- NVIDIA rounds up French deployments of its infrastructure and open models, from Bull's Vera Rubin servers to an orbiting satellite
An NVIDIA blog post lists French companies using its hardware and open models. Bull is extending European AI server production to Vera Rubin Ultra NVL72 systems planned for 2028, the Altair-1 satellite reached orbit running Mistral models on Jetson AGX Orin modules, and LINAGORA and Docaposte's Nemotron-based Twake.ai became the referenced sovereign digital workplace for more than 2,500 French public bodies. Other examples include L'Oréal adopting NVIDIA ALCHEMI for in-silico formulation research and Mirakl onboarding more than 70 million products with open models on NVIDIA GPUs.
