- NVIDIA unveils DSX POD at GTC Berlin, prebuilt container AI factories it says can be deployed in 14 days
At his GTC Berlin keynote, Jensen Huang announced NVIDIA DSX POD, a reference design for complete Vera Rubin AI factories that partners build inside modular containers and validate before delivery. NVIDIA says on-site deployment can shrink from six months to as little as 14 days once site utilities are ready, and that its DSX platform can cut cooling water use by up to 100% and deliver the same AI output with up to 30% less power. Huang also introduced an OpenShell reference architecture for running AI agents safely. NVIDIA is working with 17 partners, including Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Schneider Electric and Vertiv, to deliver DSX POD AI factories worldwide starting in early 2027.
