Baidu released Unlimited OCR 2 as open weights on Hugging Face and GitHub. Baidu claims a new SR-SWA mechanism compresses text–vision attention into fixed-size working references so arbitrarily long documents can be parsed with nearly constant per-step latency and memory, and that the model reaches state-of-the-art results on MPDocBench and MarathonDocBench; those SOTA figures are Baidu’s claims, not independently verified here.
