Sharpa, an embodied AI startup from Hesai's founding team, showed its first in-house general-purpose humanoid robot D01, the W02 dexterous hand and the AE01 exoskeleton data glove at IROS, QbitAI reports. D01 has electronic skin with tactile coverage of the upper body at 100Hz and 0.2mm repeat positioning accuracy; W02 drops from 22 to 21 active degrees of freedom and is about 30% smaller than W01, with tactile sensing across the whole hand. AE01 uses 22 encoders for teleoperation and data collection with tactile feedback to the operator. The report also describes Sharpa's CraftNet model and WM-CraftNet world-model research.
