Bengaluru-based Scimplify raised a $25 million all-equity strategic round led by Hitachi Ventures, with customers Henkel and Teknor Apex joining as new investors, to expand its AI-driven production of specialty chemicals and critical materials for manufacturers seeking alternatives to Chinese suppliers. Its Scinode platform uses AI agents for research, manufacturing and quality control to pick production routes and partner factories across a network of more than 500 facilities. Co-founder Sachin Santhosh told TechCrunch the company's annualized revenue run rate has tripled to about $200 million, and a person familiar with the deal put the post-money valuation at $250 million. Scimplify plans to expand production to the U.S. and Japan over the next year.
