    Reason Machines launched Reason 1.0, a coding agent available across CLI, desktop, web, and Slack, per AGI Hunt's coverage. The two-person, YC-backed San Francisco startup says the agent is lightweight and can be customized with your own models and subscriptions, with weekly benchmark reporting. Founder Adi Singh had previously shipped Reason Agent 1.0 in September, which claimed DeepSWE results approaching the frontier with limited independent replication.
