Prima Mente opened registration for the Alzheimer's Translation Challenge, a free global competition in which participants build AI models on a new open-source atlas of 150 million neurons, astrocytes and microglia with chemical and genetic perturbation readouts. Shortlisted participants will each propose a therapeutic hypothesis for Alzheimer's, and finalists' hypotheses will be tested in Prima Mente's wet lab. The competition starts in spring 2027 when the atlas is released, with prizes to be announced in December 2026.
