TechCrunch reports that Pluto Security has emerged from stealth with $42 million in funding to help enterprises track AI tools employees adopt. CEO Shahar Bahat says a newly released AI tool can show up inside a company within two hours, and that about 60% of the risks Pluto detects are in tools vibe-coded by non-developers, led by finance, then marketing and legal teams. Bahat says Pluto found a Fortune 500 finance employee's vibe-coded customer app left exposed to the internet.
