Pine AI introduces Pine Computer, a cloud computer built for AI agents, in private beta

Pine Computer published this on Oct 5, 2026 (source: pinecomputer.io).

Pine AI introduced Pine Computer, a cloud computer for AI that is reached through an API and gives the model change notifications from the browser, applications and operating system instead of repeated screenshots. It is in private beta with a waitlist. According to the company, on SaaS-Bench v1.1 (106 tasks) GPT-5.6 Luna on Pine Computer scored 78.3% on checkpoints versus 74.3% for Opus 5 with Claude Code and 71.1% for GPT-5.6 Sol with Codex, at about $1.02 in model cost per task versus $26.50 and $20.50. The company notes it resolved fewer whole tasks (27.4% versus 31.1% and 29.2%), that costs exclude infrastructure, and that these are whole-system comparisons from preliminary internal tests that may not hold on shorter tasks.
