Lightpanda 1.0 ships: a headless browser built for crawlers and agents

Lightpanda released version 1.0 on October 2: a headless browser written in Zig, built for crawlers and agents. The team counts over 10,000 commits in two years and passing 1.739 million Web Platform Tests subtests — about 80% of Chrome's pace in the same period, per the announcement. 1.0 enforces CORS by default, and companies already use it in production scraping.
