Honeyjar, founded by PR veterans Michelle Masek and Nadia Jamshidi, automates communications work such as writing announcements, finding journalists to pitch, tracking coverage and spotting speaking opportunities. The founders say the goal is to bring the whole comms workflow together for founders, marketers and in-house teams rather than replace PR professionals. Honeyjar says its waitlist drew 10,000 signups in the first 24 hours, with beta testers including Nextdoor, Coco Robotics and Bloomberg Beta. The startup is in TechCrunch Disrupt's Startup Battlefield 200.
