Elon Musk shared a post introducing Memory Transfer, a Grok Bot that imports what Claude or ChatGPT has learned about a user, either from one prompt pasted into the old chat or from a full ChatGPT or Claude data export. Per the post, nothing is saved automatically: the user reviews each item line by line, kept items are tagged with their source and date, and existing saved memories are not overwritten without approval.

Elon Musk shared a Sawyer Merritt post saying Grok Bot can now be used in a Tesla Cybercab. Per the post, riders sign into Grok once, their Bots are available on later rides and are logged out when they leave the car, and the agent can add items to an Amazon cart, send emails, order coffee and manage calendars by voice.

Grok Bot gets its own email address, rolling out to users

Grok Bot announced that Bot now has its own email, which it can use to sign up for services, contact businesses for the user, or schedule time with someone. A follow-up says it is rolling out to users that day, that users claim an inbox by asking Bot or tagging @bot on X, and that admins must enable it for their team. 9to5Mac reports the addresses end in @mail.grokbot.com and that a custom name can be requested and checked for availability.
