The paper presents Clinical System One (CS1-4B), a 4-billion-parameter model that answers several typed questions about a clinical record in one forward pass, each with a probability that can route uncertain cases to human review. The authors report it beat open decision models up to 27B parameters on 13 of 14 tasks across 963,408 held-out patients. The paper has not yet been peer-reviewed.
