AWS Labs' AI-DLC 2.11 runs one workflow core across Claude Code, Kiro, Codex CLI, Cursor, opencode and GitHub Copilot

AWS Labs published this on Oct 8, 2026 (source: github.com).

AWS Labs' open-source AI-DLC (AI-Driven Development Life Cycle) turns coding agents into staged, approval-gated software delivery workflows started with /aidlc, from one harness-neutral core that installs natively into Claude Code, Kiro CLI and IDE, Codex CLI, Cursor, opencode and GitHub Copilot. Version 2.11.0, the latest stable release from October 8, keeps users' replies in their own words, applies requested stage skips or additions at once with a way back, has the engine ask for Plan Approval, and keeps finished unit work when a plan changes. The repository is MIT-0 licensed and has over 5,000 GitHub stars.
