    OpenRouter launches Armor in beta to block policy-violating agent tool calls before they run

    Armor is a beta OpenRouter plugin that checks agent tool calls against plain-English rules and can block them before execution, using TypeSafe's Jev decision model. OpenRouter claims better precision than Claude Code's automatic classifier at lower cost; that comparison is OpenRouter's own and has not been independently verified.
